Archax announces €GOVY on the Stellar network, bringing its perpetual tokenised government bill product to the eurozone

Revealed at the Stellar Development Foundation’s Meridian 2026 in Lisbon, €GOVY joins $GOVY and £GOVY designed to give institutions ‘always-on’ tokenised government exposure in all three major reserve currencies.
Lisbon, 28 October 2026 – Archax, the UK/EU/US regulated digital asset platform, today announced €GOVY, a euro-denominated version of its perpetual tokenised government bill product, on the Stellar network. The €GOVY launch was revealed at Meridian, the Stellar Development Foundation’s annual conference, in Lisbon.
€GOVY is designed to give treasurers, asset managers and other eligible institutions 24/7 on-chain exposure to short-dated euro-area government debt through a single token . Because the maturing bills roll automatically, holders do not need to redeem or reinvest at each maturity date. It joins $GOVY, launched in June 2026 on Ethereum, Hedera and the Stellar network.
Working collateral, now in euros
Like its sister products, €GOVY uses an auto-roll structure: as underlying bills mature, the proceeds are automatically reinvested in new bills, so holders keep their exposure and yield without needing to manage a maturity cycle. Yield varies with prevailing rates on the underlying bills. The product is structured in line with HQLA Level 1 principles too (although regulatory treatment depends on each holder’s own rules), which makes €GOVY suitable for working collateral – an asset designed to be held, transferred 24/7 between eligible holders, and pledged on supported venues, as an alternative to holding euro cash .
Built for European institutions
The launch follows Archax’s recent regulatory expansion in the EU. In September 2026, Spain’s Comisión Nacional del Mercado de Valores (CNMV) authorised Archax Markets Europe, S.V., S.A. to provide reception and transmission of orders, execution, placement, custody and investment advice. This means Archax can serve professional and eligible clients across the EU and EEA. €GOVY is distributed to EU clients through Archax Markets Europe, so European institutions can access the product, and hold it in custody, through a locally regulated counterparty.
Why Stellar
Stellar was one of $GOVY’s three launch networks, and its fast, low-cost settlement and strong presence in payments and stablecoins make it a natural first home for €GOVY. On the Stellar network, €GOVY sits alongside euro stablecoins, allowing holders to move between euro cash and tokenised euro government exposure on chain.
Graham Rodford, CEO and co-founder of Archax, comments: “Institutions don’t run on one currency, and their collateral shouldn’t either. With the launch of €GOVY, a treasurer will be able to hold tokenised government exposure in dollars, sterling and euros – earning yield and ready to deploy at any hour of any day. Launching on the Stellar network, at Meridian, also reflects how important the network has been to GOVY from day one.”
Jose Fernandez da Ponte, President and Chief Growth Officer at the Stellar Development Foundation said: “Euro liquidity is moving on chain, and institutions want more options for the assets they hold between payments. Bringing Euro government exposure onto the Stellar network, alongside Euro stablecoins, shows the kind of real-world use the network supports."
