Building Inclusive Finance with Blockchain

Policymakers, development professionals, technologists, and humanitarian actors are invited to join the Stellar Development Foundation (SDF) and Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) on Wednesday, July 2, 2025 from 3:30PM to 8:00PM at Villa Luisa, Sevilla, Spain to unblock development finance and investigate how blockchain can promote financial inclusion.

This event will spotlight tangible, on-the-ground examples of how blockchain is already transforming financial access in some of the world’s most challenging contexts; and how open-source tools like the Stellar Disbursement Platform (SDP) are creating real impact across the humanitarian and development space including the opportunity to participate in a live demo of the SDP.
