The Stellar Community Fund (SCF) continues to support exciting projects that enhance the functionality and infrastructure of the Soroban ecosystem. In this SCF Recap, we will shine a spotlight on four projects: Reflector, a Chainlink oracles relayer, Elio DAO, and a Soroban Smart Contract Catalog. These projects aim to fill crucial needs for early Soroban builders.

Reflector is a price feed oracle network designed for Soroban smart contracts. It operates through a network of nodes that continuously monitor the Stellar network for new trades to determine prices for tracked assets.

Reflector seeks to provide immediate data availability, low fees, efficient ledger utilization, and automatic cross-price calculations for any asset pair. Reflector’s goal is to offer a reliable and secure solution for obtaining accurate price data within the Stellar ecosystem.

Chainlink Oracles Relayer*

The Chainlink Oracles Relayer is a trustless VRF (Verifiable Random Function) proxy solution designed to relay the services of the oracle provider, Chainlink, to Soroban. Oracles play a crucial role in various projects as they provide genuinely random data that is not readily available within smart contracts.

The system consists of a proxy contract, relayer, and oracles. Developers deploy the proxy contract on Soroban, which serves as an interface for making random data requests. The relayer processes these requests and calls the Chainlink VRF implementation on Fantom, leveraging the oracle network's capabilities. The provided random data is then verified through on-chain signature verification.

Through the Chainlink Oracles Relayer, developers within the Soroban ecosystem will be able to harness the power of oracles, making it possible to incorporate randomness and enhance the functionality of their decentralized applications.

Elio DAO*

Elio DAO aims to bring decentralized autonomous organizations (DAOs) to the Soroban ecosystem. DAOs reimagine organizational management by enabling decentralized decision-making, community governance, and shared ownership through smart contracts.

Elio DAO offers an interface for creating and managing DAOs, including key functionalities such as asset issuance, governance setup, and voting workflows. Elio DAO apart is building out extendable hook point functionality, allowing developers to customize DAOs with Soroban smart contracts.

As open-source infrastructure, Elio DAO will provide frontend components for others to utilize and tailor to their unique needs. With Elio DAO, engaging in decentralized governance aims to be seamless and accessible.

AnChain.AI - Soroban Smart Contract Catalog*

The Soroban Smart Contract Catalog is an open-source tool designed to simplify the process of developing on Soroban. This catalog provides a list of Soroban smart contracts for various use cases. Developers can leverage the catalog to either directly deploy functional smart contracts, modify existing templates to suit specific needs, or simply gain educational insights.

By offering readily available templates, the Soroban Smart Contract Catalog empowers developers to accelerate their Web3 application development.
